Okay I have to post about this and steer you all to an amazing custom content offered on MTS for free by Honeywell. I’m in love seriously. Here is why.
She makes a crib with a add on changing table with a dangling toy. Oh my word! This is amazing. It only takes two squares up and you can have two babies using it for sleep. For those starting houses where space is minimal this is perfect. She also makes a bouncinator chair and has redone the toddler art table. I’m so impressed. Save space and it looks so pretty.

Everyone has been working hard on the crops but as it always goes without ladybug houses the bad insects come. Of course though they don’t have any insect spray on the island so they just had to hope something would come out of all their hard work.
Archer was the one to harvest and they did alright. The tomatoes just weren’t in the best of shape but they should manage.
Some random night pictures. It’s been interesting to realize that all sims are asexual till the controller has them flirt with a sim. Now when I first started this challenge I used boolprop to check out what their autonomous sexual preference is. They all were hot for males. But after awhile of watching and noticing that no acr was happening I decided to have them “check sims out” of the opposite sex and bing bong boom when I checked their autonomous sexual preference it had changed to prefer the sex of the one I had them flirt with.
Some how without me seeing Archer got struck by lightning. pretty comical his look since his needs went in the red for bladder, hygiene and comfort.
So Avery decided to sunbathe and had the audacity to get all cranky at me when she got a sunburn. Ummmm… yeah.
Archer for some reason likes to stand and watch the girl’s sunbathe. He stands waiting for a long time hoping to tickle them. I always send him away to tend the crops.
Nolan and Avery were the first to autonomously have a crush on each other. It felt like after harvesting the crops, filling the fridge with fish and having things going well with skilling that it was time for romance.
The castaways were starting to realize that there mindset needed to shift from survival to actually accepting that this is their life and until they are rescued or find a way off the island they should start to settle into their new life.
Nolan had everyone gather on the chairs wanting to talk to them about making plans for housing. He announced that Avery and him had a thing going on and they wanted their own space and how the no privacy for the toilets was okay for a short time but now it was getting old. They needed to start thinking about hurricane season and floods or whatever else could happen to make them have a place to hide out in.
With two small bathrooms, a kitchen with dining area and a living room that can be used for sleeping in if thunder / rain is happening. They now have privacy

I am happy to introduce the 6 sims who unfortunately were shipwrecked when their tour boat sprung a leak… well a gigantic hole to be honest. They luckily survived and reached the shore but with not much to salvage at least at this moment. They still scour the shoreline for anything floating on the ocean that they could use. At the moment they have a public shower, toilet and sink that get’s filled everyday with fresh water from a river they found when scouting the island.
Here is the brave crew….
Archer is really good with his hands and loves tinkering so he is the one in charge of making the shower, toilet and sink keep working. He also needs to hone up on his skills in mechanical to help them get off the island.
Portia is a southern bell and is known for her gumbo chicken. She isn’t new to working with fish and all types of seafood. So she will fit right in with taking over the cooking for this crew. She is excited to figure out how to use the fruits of this island in her creations.
Oakley is the thinker in the crowd. He has a logical mind and will be the one to orchestrate the running of their island camp. He is a born leader… don’t let the dreads fool yah man…
Avery is a doll and always cheery. She has been stuck with the grungiest of jobs but she doesn’t mind it at all. She put’s her heart into cleaning up and hopes that somehow with her contribution they will return home to their families.
Ellie is the creative one. She is making sure that everyone doesn’t get too serious. She knows it will take hard work to find a way off the island but thinks that they should work hard, play hard. She has nightly events going on to boost moral.
Nolan didn’t spend anytime trying to send up flares in hopes of a rescue. He was the one to make the first fishing rod and went to work. See Nolan is athletic and depends on his body not his brain to get him by. So he accepted that Oakley would be the leader but he showed them right off that he would be the one to provide for the camp. Let the brains sit and think. Let the brawns get going.
With only one book it was vital that Portia learnt at least a few cooking skill points before she set out to feed the crew.
All goes well with lunch meat sandwiches.
Here Portia is talking about the price of oil. How interesing how their topics haven’t switched over much or perhaps she is wondering about when the night comes. As you can see they got busy creating bamboo chairs and a table. The necessities.
Some still haven’t clued in how far up shit creek they are.
The crops are just going to be the food that they would find on the island. They seem to be getting along so far. I placed plenty of palm trees around the lot to give it that Caribbean feel.
Of course a fire did happen but I had a sprinkler system setup so no one got hurt they just went frantic about the fire.
As you might notice there is a fence all along the property and the gates only allow household in. This has helped keeping out random visitors feeling they can come into the yard.

This is another favourite of mine. It’s not the usual family at all. I love breaking out of the box. I started with Harmony Kismet. She lives in a very cute and cozy cottage with many garden plots in front of her house with three fruit trees. She struggled at the beginning to get all the gardening done and was found falling asleep while eating often. Then her skills blossomed and she was able to talk with the plants to keep them happy. She somehow during all that fell in love with a punk rocker chic with a mohawk who’s last name is gardener. Elsie her name is, she was created by me awhile back so I actually had to find her and figure out if I was willing to break up the family I had her in. Yes, Yes, I was. I deleted her old life and soon she was moving in with Harmony. The only problem is that Harmony is mad in love with Elsie but Elsie is the romance type. She told Harmony upfront that she doesn’t believe in monogamy and that she would not stifle her heart for no one. So Harmony of course wanting Elsie in her life decided to be okay with it. The only thing is that Harmony wanted the whole white wedding, the picket fence house with kids on the way. Elsie cringes at the thought of that lifestyle and has been upfront that it isn’t what she seeks. I would say that Elsie is the wild, spontaneous, lead by her heart type person and the one who wears the pants in the relationship. Harmony seeks serious monogamy and she likes playing the wife. Cooking and cleaning to keep her Elsie happy. Elsie in her own way loves Harmony and they do share a special bond. However, Elsie has to work on her LTW and it happens to be the “be in love simultaneously with 20 lovers”. She doesn’t hide it at all. With ACR the lot is set on ignore relationships and no jealousy. Of course, Harmony can’t help but be jealous when Elsie has a lover come over but she would rather deal with that then have Elsie leave her.
While this is going on they garden and open a grocery market to sell their veggies and fruit. Then Harmony meets Linda Hamilton. Linda instantly knew that Harmony was the woman for her. She would take any opportunity she could to see Harmony. She was hit on by Elsie one day while visiting and she didn’t like that at all. She was not attracted to her at all. In fact, she was jealous of Elsie for having Harmony and also upset that she would treat her this way. Soon Harmony was swayed to open her heart up to Linda. She didn’t feel the same chemistry with Linda as Elsie but she knew that Linda wanted the same life. See, Linda concentrated on her high powered career all her adult life and now as a senior she wanted so much what she had missed out on. Her LTW is to see three children graduate from College. The interesting thing is Elsie actually was supportive of Harmony’s feelings to Linda and agreed to them getting engaged. Eventually they married but Elsie said that Harmony must still live with her. They did try living together for a bit but Linda was far to jealous and could not handle it. So Linda moved out into a beautiful little house with a white picket fence. Harmony would stay the night sometimes and they adopted a beautiful girl which lived with Linda. It was quite hard explaining to Brenda the girl they adopted why she had two mommies and one lived down the street. But she was happy just having a home and family. She was friendly with Elsie too. Linda was an amazing home cook so she opened a cafe. Brenda goes to school since she was adopted as a child. Elsie and Harmony are working on their LTW.
Funny thing is Elsie met a friend who set her up. The one who she was set up with is the Lady of the Prisoner Challenge. They have three bolts. Lady Peyton after one date came by with a sack and delivered a pin ball machine. There is possibilities in the future with her.

Jemma was made initially for an apartment challenge I created but I soon realized that she had won my heart and was ment for greater things. During the challenge she had Remington as a roommate and their love blossomed at a very slow pace. First she dated others then when she moved out she realized how much she missed Remi. They started to date and this is the first time I made sure to take it slow. First a date, then a dream date, then engagement, then marriage, then woohoo with Remi moving in. Yes, they were married before they got to woohoo. How traditional of me. hehe. Usually it’s the first date just to bump up to dream date!
While dating on the weekends, Jemma climbed the ladder in her career to accomplish her LTW. She was allowed a kitty in the challenge and named her Jazzy. She took the time to teach her how to do all the tricks and have the best manners. They lived happily as a couple and were in no rush to grow up.
Jemma quit her job after accomplishing her LTW and wanted to move onto a new passion. She bought a rock club and they were the true modern urban couple. They spent their nights working hard and playing hard. They had a roommate to help cover the apartment costs since they had a huge hefty loan for the club. They made it a hit and it became the hot spot in the hood.
Then Remi decided he wanted to start working on his LTW which is education so back to going to sleep early. At this time Jemma thought it was time to sell the club and have the baby she has always wanted. Kimber was born and took on the same look as her mother. Now as a child she is quite a character that I am always zooming in to take a picture. I’ve decided that this family is so cute that I’ve taken aging off. Never want to let them go.
They have taken two trips so far. One was for their honeymoon at twikiki island. They stayed in one of the hotels and had an amazing time. Then when Kimber became a child and Remi was higher up in his career with vacation days they decided to purchase a house in three lakes. They took as many friends as they could with them to enjoy the retreat with them. The log cabin they have has ample seating in the living room and dining area. Being that it’s on the small side there is three tents set up for camping and outdoor shower / toilets with only one bathroom on the main floor for them to share. Up the stairs is a private area just for the family. A room with a bed and doll house for the girl, a double bed for the parents with balcony and they share a bathroom. There is a big pond for fishing and a campfire for fun at night.
Now that Kimber is a child she will be heading off to school and Jemma will be opening a bakery shop. Something she can do and still be home for Kimber after school. She has 10 skill points in each category so she is a qualified baker. She will do the baking at home and hire out for the running of the store so it can be run without her. Remi is close to achieving his LTW and the vacation helped him gather the friends he needed.
